Mine is "knowing how much I suffer when I get off track"... that keeps me accountable. It's been quite some time since I've been off track - and I attribute that to how badly I suffered because of it.

That mental placeholder is my reminder... I can choose to "suffer" through a training session today - or I will suffer FAR GREATLY by getting out of my training groove. Easy choice :-) 

Excellent coming back like this, Claudia F.! And I would say taking off last week can be why the shoulder feels iffy... The rotator cuff needs the consistency... so keep that in mind going forward... And sleeping on it can add extra irritation for sure - I know this from personal experience :-)
