Zero targeted session for me today.

My work is very physically demanding and today was no exception. 6 hours straight digging holes and planting trees and shrubs.

My back and chest have had enough work today!!!!🤣

Stretching session completed though and now for a great sleep😴😴💤💤

Legs✅️ Chest n Back tomorrow💪

3 x dog walks today in the very late Summer sunshine, heading quickly into Autumn and the nights are pulling in. Our clocks go back 1 hour soon😔, so it'll be dark dog walking!

Feeling grateful today for my health and vigour. It's easy to pick out all the negatives. Our minds find that so much more accessible it seems!!! My sight, hearing, senses of smell and taste, touch and all my limbs working......Thanks Lord🙏🙏🧡

Soooo Bi's n Tri's yesterday.

Fresh start tomorrow with Legs.

Today was moving back into home with the normal 2 dog walks.

Did several sets of 15 x walking lunges across the paths on the fields alternated with sets of 100 step backwards walking. My dog thinks I'm crazy🤣🤣....whatever works!!!🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️. My quads enjoyed it💪🌟🌟

Shoulders and Abs/core ✅️

We leave for home tomorrow after 3 weeks, so a day of packing, driving and unpacking.

Got a lot of plans in the pipeline for training and work orientation. Hope to get a session in tomorrow but let's see! 💪💪🌟🌟🙌

Joey A. Indeed (last paragraph), the "suffering" in a training session is also of a shorter duration and only physical, compared to the longevity of suffering both mentally and physically over the years as we age, by not addressing it.

Claudia F. This is excellent thank you! A great example of your own awareness.

I guess it's easy for many of us to drop into "Auto Pilot" when we have so many demands on our time.

Awareness is so complimented by slowing down I find......in all aspects of our lives, it allows us the time to breathe and just listen.

Yesterday I worked my leg combination of exercises from the videos that I've saved. It's a pretty testing session, repeating each of the 8, 3 x through.

I've been looking at what's available in advanced now and planning ahead, although I know where I can add weight and/or more band strength for now.

Today will be shoulders and I shall mix in an Ab session to finish.

The exercises and frequency are pretty much committed to memory now but I also keep a log for notes or adjustments of weight etc.

Accountability (for me) is key, it adds to my commitment and discipline. If I can see a historical record in whatever format it spurs me onward. It highlights that I'm worthy of my own attention for something POSITIVE. It's so easy to shelve our own needs I find!

How do you stay accountable? What do you put in place to show up?

Abs/Core and cardio on the menu today.

Well, the cardio was 14,000 step coastal hike before 9am with the dog😅

I added in a sneaky bicep/tricep session as I've got another 2 days before they repeat. Did abs and Core afterwards.

Another 2 days of my holiday left, so I've got some solid workout traction now under my belt to return home with.

Feeling accomplished💪💪🔥🌟🌟

Yes, that's a good one! The standing leg sesh is my most demanding also.

It's amazing how just 10 minutes into a session you can suddenly feel more focused and energised than you initially thought and then go on to have a great workout.

Amen to all of the above Joey A. 🙏🙏💪💪🧡
