gmjackson - they are very awkward and put the joints in compromising positions. The risk is not worth it as there are PLENTY other exercises (see my lower body programs) that give better results without the risk on the joints.

You will defintely still see results, gmjackson!! :-) the 6-Day SS every other day - with your swim training on the days in between will be a great combo. Results and improvements might take a little longer - but they will still happen!
