Joey A. I don't quite understand: by the pushup you will have to bend the at the wrists? You do that at this video too. Unless I use fists - but that I can't because I use a counter
My upper body is super weak, all the years I've been doing only pilates and barre-like type of workouts (and flabby at 46 as a result). I cant do a single a pushup on the floor, I can do about 6-8 at the counter, but my weak wrists have started to hurt. Would a more vertical surface make sense, like the wall for a month or so?
Thank you a lot for your prompt replies and kind suggestions! Yes, I have looked up 6 days and it looks doable to me. I also have resistance bands, but simple ones, not yours. My goals are to get stronger, less flabby, and stay independent at older age. I have rather unflattering genetics on my parents side, they both passed away already at quite a young age (stroke and cancer)
Hello, I am new to the group! Doing basic and toned at home now. Loved abs sequence!
A bit about me: all my life, like for about 20 years I have been doing only gentle type of workouts, like barre, pilates, dynamic stretching (taichi style), rebounding. I was afraid to get bulky, so I never took hand weights, ankle weights higher than 2 pounds ….
Where did it bring me? I am 46 now, and my body is flabby and saggy. I also lipedema, and got an early menopause at 38. Quite sure, early meno has played a huge role in my sagginess.
My biggest question is: should do some special weights routine to address this lack of tone, and which programme would you recommend? (I bought the hand weights with up to 10 pounds range and discovered that I enjoy so much using them. Quite sad for wasted years though..)
Great exercises for the apron as well! Joey, what is the recommended number of reps shoudl we reach? I can do 20, but should I do it in several sets or x20 at once per one exercise?

Joey A. Thank you for the suggestion with the bottom of the palms. Did the exercises yesterday, no pain today! 🥰
