Joey, thanks for the reply. I am actually a physician and am the Director of a Family Medicine residency training program. My schedule varies every week. I take 1 week of call that usually goes 7-5, but then I am on call 24/7 x 1 week that week. Completely unpredictable, sometimes having to go back to the hospital and taking calls all night long.
The other 3-4 weeks are better in that I have a couple of hours either in the morning or laste afternoon at least 3 days a week and weekends off (but never really off as I have my 2 90+ yr old parents living with me). I can get 4-5 workouts in on those weeks. The call week is the toughest.
I saw you on the internet and looked at your stuff. I recognized that despite being a lifelong athlete and previously being in shape/working out, the post-COVID years have been much harder. Every time I start something it is hard to stick to it either because it is not enjoyable, being too hard or I get minor, nagging injuries that shut me down. Thank you!
