Hi Joey! Yes, I do have dumbbells and resistance bands, and plan on working out at home.
I completed step one and took my before photos.
I completed step two and started with the day one lower body from the five day sample schedule. It was very challenging, but I was able to complete 97% of the exercises.
I definitely need to improve my nutrition. I usually have a FairLife 30 g protein shake with some fruit for breakfast. When I am meal prepping, I try to create a lunch that has some protein, carbs and vegetables. An example is chicken breast with roasted cauliflower Frank’s 0 cal buffalo sauce, chopped green onions and a sprinkle of feta cheese. And a small portion of a roasted sweet potato. I tend to struggle more with dinners sometimes I just eat guacamole and chips or a grilled cheese with tomato. Sometimes I make an egg omelette with cottage cheese and some toast. I drink probably 64 ounces of water a day, 2 cups of coffee in the morning and generally one soda. I will also snack at times with candy, pastries or ice cream, but not every day. I know the protein intake is important. I used to take creatine, but I have stopped because I have been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, stage 3a.
And I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner. I work in a residential mental health and substance use disorder facility.

Joey A. - Lower body felt good, just the right amount of soreness.
I struggle with making food and finding things I like to eat.
Ideally I would like to train in the mornings but sometimes it's after work around 5-5:30pm
