I’m a new Total Access subscriber and have been watching your podcast and also some videos on your website.  I am a 45-year-old female with 40 pounds I’d like to lose.  I discovered you on YouTube the day before I was supposed to start strength training.  Talk about good timing!  😊  I will be using the beginner playlist from the email you sent.  I have not started the exercises yet as I’m waiting for my smart scale to arrive.  I do like that you use body weight as resistance along with slow movements.  I mainly did body weight-type exercises in my 30s with 3- or 5-pound weights at times, but I heard that in your 40s you need to lift and lift heavy.  I am so glad I can do body weight exercises again and not do progressive overload exercises.  With that said, I do have a few questions.

1.  Could your workouts be considered cardio?

2. I have a walking pad and have been walking 45 minutes at 3 mph 5 days a week.  Should I continue doing that?  I also do a 15-minute slower walk after my dinner.  I hover between 1.6 to 2 mph for that.
