Replied on Food!! :)

So in the past, I have found 1/2 a banana with a couple of dessert spoons of greek yoghurt, with 6 or 7 macadamia nuts and a sprinkle of cinnamon...and a cup of green tea.   Although, as of the last couple of months, I am not having the banana, but instead some frozen berries. (maybe a 1/4 cup).

Progress update:-   I have been sticking to the program 6 days a week (as I shared a couple of chats further back), and while I'm feeling some soreness (in my butt muscles mainly, and shakiness in my thighs when doing the ULBH&T makeover Level 1)...I haven't seen any change as of yet (I guess it's only been 5 weeks??)  :(

Joey Atlas I have a query?  I have tried doing the fasting until lunchtime and exercising around 9am for a few weeks now, but I still really struggle and feel light headed and shaky without something in my gut before exercising.  If I eat a small amount and then do my workouts a little later, I feel great and have lots of energy?!!  If I stick with that, what would you suggest is best to eat for breakky/snack?... and should I then wait a couple of hours or more before I exercise?

Joey Atlas So, the schedule I've adopted from this week is as follows!

Mon: NB, Tue: A-C Cardio, Wed: T-T arms & F-S Stomach, Thur: NB,  Fri: A-C Cardio,

Sat: NB, Sun: Day off.  On at least 4 of those days I will also do a 45 min to 1 hour walk (registering "Fat Burn" mode 60% of the walk and "cardio" the other 40% of the walk).

How does that sound?

Joey Atlas...maybe 3 or 4 kilos?  I feel more comfortable when I'm around 54 kilos.   Age 55  :)

Joey Atlas Needing to tone up, especially thighs and butt....even the front of my arms now show a little cellulite :( I have always exercised as I love it. I would be happy to lose a couple of kilos, as well as toning up.....also, I realize we need to have good bone density as we age, so would like to build up muscle too (but not be bulky!).

Joey Atlas I don't tend to eat them at the end of the day....sometimes I will have 1/3 of one with a few nuts in the morning, just before I exercise. Yes, I know what you're thinking..."why aren't you fasting??"...I am still trying to do that 4 days a week, but to be honest, I always feel so washed out for the rest of the day, when I try to exercise on an empty stomach...I feel really faint and just blah, both during and then after! My Dr used to say it is because I have very low blood pressure and low blood sugar levels too.....I'm not sure if this is why? If I'm not exercising I can go without food until at least lunchtime, but I am so lethargic if I go out brisk walking on an empty stomach. Happy to take any advice on this :)

Joey Atlas I used to eat a small banana most days, but realize they are high in sugar (albeit natural sugar)...

Hi, I just watched the "mighty meal walk through" which said there would be links below for the salad, cauli steaks etc...but I can't seem to find them? Is there another section where these would be and do you have a "List" of suggestions as to what fruits & vegies you recommend eating or others that are not so good?....(for meals and snacks please).
